Upcoming changes at our office

​

As of October 1st, two physicians, Dr. Christine Gaudet and Dr. Melanie Meehan, will be transferring their practices to our clinic.  In addition, Dr. Cassandra de Gasperis-Brigante will be taking over Dr. Gagnon's practice (see message below).  Please note that none of this physicians will be accepting new patients.  We are lucky to have found these doctors to join our team!

Message from Dr. Gagnon:

With mixed emotions, I wish to inform you that I will be leaving family medicine practice as of October 1, 2025.  For many of you, I have been your family physician for 18 years. This is a long time in our lives and it has been an honour to care for you and your families throughout this period.

 

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Cassandra de Gasperis-Brigante to take over my practice.  Many of you will have already met her as she has already been working at the clinic.  I feel that she is a good fit and that she will provide you with excellent medical care over many years to come. 

 

Effective October 1, 2025 all of my patients will be automatically transferred to Dr. de Gasperis-Brigante.  BETWEEN OCTOBER 1, 2025 AND JANUARY 1, 2026 ALL ONTARIO PATIENTS WILL NEED TO SIGN THE OHIP FORM CONFIRMING THAT THEY ACCEPT DR. DE GASPERIS-BRIGANTE AS THEIR FAMILY PHYSICIAN AND THAT THEY WISH TO REMAIN IN OUR CLINIC FAMILY HEALTH ORGANIZATION.  

 

Please note that by signing this, you will be agreeing to call our clinic first for any urgent appointments to see if we can accommodate you in our same day appointments. This helps maintain the continuity of your medical care.

 

For those of you who decide to seek a family physician outside of our clinic, you can request that your medical records be transferred from our office by signing a form at your new physician's office. A standard OMA fee will apply to this transfer of records, which will be completed once payment is received.
